Darwin G. “Glen” Keeling, 50, of Pana, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Pana Community Hospital. He was born February 20, 1960 in Pana, IL, son of Howard & Ola Britton Keeling. Glen had lived in Tower Hill, Assumption, and Pana. He had worked at Mueller’s for 20 years and was a carpenter. He was a member of Pana Eagles, former member of Pana Elks, and past member of Highway Riders Motorcycle Club. Glen liked the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening and loved his family.
He married Patricia Girrulat in Pana in 1992.
Glen is survived by his wife, Patricia Keeling, Assumption, IL; companion: Kandee Glick, Pana, IL; parents: Rev. Howard & Ola Keeling, Tower Hill, IL; children: David Glen Keeling, Findlay, IL; Wesley Shane Keeling & wife Randi, Champaign, IL; and Kevin Michael Keeling & companion Ashley Palmer, Pana, IL; Kandee’s children: Rebecca Williams & husband Greg, Decatur, IL and Stephanie Carlise & husband Devin, Herrick, IL; 3 grandchildren: Dawson Glen Keeling, Erick Logan Keeling, Jayden Michael Keeling; Kandee’s grandchildren: Landon Williams, Lucy Williams, Fordmarie Carlise; brother: Tim Keeling, Moweaqua, IL; sisters: Judy Logue, Herrick, IL; Darlene Winterrowd, Teutopolis, IL and Carol Milligan, Chireno, TX. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Roger Keeling & Danny Keeling.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 5, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana, IL. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with an Eagles services at 8:00 p.m.
