Donny Haines, 27, of Lexington, TN, formerly of Pana, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN. He was born July 2, 1983, in Melrose Park, IL, the son of William Donald & Christina Sue (Olivio) Haines. Donny had lived in Pana and attended Pana Schools before moving to Tennessee, where he had lived for the past 6 years. He worked at Amerawear doing silk-screening & printing. He had also worked for his father in the floor covering business. During high school, Donny played football, baseball, and intramural basketball. He loved his family and children.
Donny married Heather McIntyre on June 17, 2010 in Lexington, TN.
He is survived by his wife: Heather Haines, Lexington, TN; children: Andrew Haines, Lexington, TN & Serenity Haines, Lexington, TN; father & step mother: William Donald Haines & wife Sheila, TN; mother & step father: Christina Meek & husband Rob, Taylorville, IL; brothers & sisters: Jimmy Lee Haines, Pana, IL; Kristal Ann Haines, Taylorville, IL; & Brandon Lee Haines, Pana, IL; and several aunts & uncles.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. James T. Kelly & Rev. Jerry L. Thorpe, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery, Oconee. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
