Helen Marie Wikoff, 90, of Pana, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 in St., John’s Hospital, Springfield.
She was born October 20, 1919 in Macon, IL, the daughter of Clinton William & Ella Fluss Taylor. A graduate of Warrensburg High School, she had lived in Macon, Decatur, Maroa and has been in Pana since 1962. Helen was a homemaker and had worked at Kelley Potato Chips Company. She was a member of the Pana Christian Church and Pana Senior Citizens.
Helen Taylor and Wayne Wikoff were married on October 13, 1940 in St. Charles, MO.
She is survived by their children: Karen Troxler, Las Vegas, NV; Linda Micek & husband Gerald, Pana, IL; Patricia Cothern & husband Louie, Pana, IL; Wayne Wikoff, Jr. & wife Judy, Pana, IL; 8 grandchildren: Dennis, Brenda, Teressa, Kevin, Craig, Aaron, Chad and Robyn; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren ; and by her sister: Alice Robertson, Pana, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1984, grandson Jeff Micek on May 8, 2005, brothers Charles Taylor and Bill Taylor and sister Eloise Miller.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Mollet officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
