Farrell Wade Oakley, 36, of Pana died Friday, August 13, 2010 at home.
He was born February 8, 1974 in Decatur, IL and was a graduate of Pana High School Class of 1992. He was a carpenter by trade, an avid gardener, Cub Fan and Harley enthusiast.
Farrell is survived by the mother who raised him: Rena’ Oakley, Pana, IL; children: Ashton, Kelsey and Lainey Oakley, Beecher City, IL; sister: Karen (Oakley) and husband Harry Bragg, Maroa, IL; brother: Jim Oakley & wife Deb, Pana, IL; aunt: Arlene McGrath, Andalusia, IL; step brothers: Don Eggerman, Shelbyville, IL and Bob Brown, Oldsmar, FL; step sister: Tammy Edwards, Ramsey, IL; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Ted C. Oakley on June 18, 2004; grandmother Eleanor Hittle on July 10, 2010; and uncle Richard McGrath.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Mollet, Pana Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
