Bonnie M. Tipsword, 68, of Pana died Friday, April 9, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of John & Audrey Gibbs Abrams. She lived in Witt until she married and then lived in Shelbyville and later in Pana. A homemaker, she was a member of Rosamond Baptist Church and Pana Eagles.
Bonnie married Ronald E. Hill who preceded her in death. She later married Ronald Tipsword on August 18, 1998.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald Tipsword, Pana, IL; children: Ronald Lee Hill & wife Beverly, Hammond, IL and Jody Hill, Rosamond, IL; step son: Ronald P. Tipsword, Jr., Sandoval, IL; step daughter: Paula Tipsword, Rosamond, IL; step daughter-in-law: Michelle Tipsword, Rosamond, IL; 6 grandchildren: Ashlee Wehrle, Halle Hollenbeck, Whitney Hill, Kelsie Hill, Lacee Hile, Kaylee Hubner; 8 step grandchildren: Alex, Emily & Rachael Tipsword, Brandon Beaty, Michael Beaty, Allison Jannink, Courtney Broaddus, & Jared Tipsword; 1 great grandchild: Kylie Mann; two brothers: James Abrams, Witt, IL and John Abrams, Ramsey, IL; five sisters: Jackie Brumberlow & husband Jack, Witt, IL; Annabell Sanders, Witt, IL; Carolyn Rhodes, Witt, IL; Alice Eller & husband Roy, Ramsey, IL; Joanne Deason, Irving, IL; and by several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald E. Hill; brothers & sisters: Jewel Abrams, Lee Abrams, Robert Abrams & Stella Rhodes; step sons: Jeffrey Tipsword & Terry Tipsword.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Ebbler officiating. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
