Herman C. “Pete” Beyers, 93, of Pana died Friday, August 13, 2010 in Heritage Manor-Pana.
He was born March 14, 1917 in Pana, the son of Herman L. & Sarah (Shanks) Beyers.
Pete was a retired Building & Roofing Contractor. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana and the Carpenter’s Union.
Herman C. Beyers and Helen Cummings were united in marriage on October 17, 1937.
He is survived by his daughter Sally Cole, Pana, IL; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his parents, wife on November 17, 2008, daughter Sharon Sue “Rosie” Taylor August 17, 2992, grandson Norman Taylor June 25, 2009, brothers: Harold, Henry “Hank”, and Robert, sisters Dorothy Secrest and Doris Bauer.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Calvary Cemetery, Pana at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodney A. Schwartz officiating. There will be no visitation.
