John R. Mizeur, 52, of Pana died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Pana Community Hospital,
John was born January 12, 1956 in Pana, IL, the son of Robert & Clara (Berns) Mizeur. He was a graduate of Pana High School Class of 1974. John had lived his entire life in Pana. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana and a former member of Pana Knights of Columbus. For several years, John operated his own lawn care business.
John is survived by his father: Robert Mizeur, Pana, IL; brother: Dan Mizeur & wife Tonya, Pana, IL; sister: Julie Merrall & husband Joe, Atlanta, GA; and nephews: Dagan & Mason Mizeur, Pana, IL and Alex & Brett Merrall, Atlanta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Mizeur November 27, 1995.

Funeral Information

Funeral mass will be held Monday, May 5, 2008 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Tom Mizeur and Rev. Don Roberts celebrating the mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home, Pana. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
