David Lee Beck, 56, of Pana, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Pana Community Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1955 in Pana, IL, the son of Wayne & Lucille Dilley Beck. He had lived in Florida 20 years, Michigan for 7 years and came back to Pana 4 years ago. David was a drywall finisher and a mechanic.
He is survived by Terri Jo Miller, his companion for 32 years; children: David Wayne Beck, Pana, IL; Daniel Lyne Beck, Melbourne, FL; Travis Lee Miller, Shelbyville, IL; Bennie Lynn Beck, Pana, IL; Angel Nichole Beck, Pana, IL; 6 grandchildren: David Wayne Beck, Jr., Kayla Doris Beck, Kathleen Rena Miller, Travis Lee Miller, Jr. Shannon Nichole Beck, Khloe Irene Beck; 2 step grandchildren: Nathan Michael Griffin, and Midajah Shawna Marie Rogers; brothers: Ed Beck and Dale Beck, both of Tower Hill, IL; sisters: Iva Oleson, Rockford, IL; Mary Van Hooser, Tower Hill, IL; Rosie Perdue, Tower Hill, IL and Lois Pease, Rockford, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Samuel Beck.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
