Jeremy McGavic, 28, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born January 27, 1981 in Decatur, the son of David R. and Catherine A. Seagle McGavic. He had lived in the Pana, Tower Hill, and Shelbyville areas. Jeremy enjoyed boating & the water. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles & his dog, Harley. He especially loved his family, his niece, and his cousins.
Jeremy is survived by his parents: David & Catherine McGavic, Shelbyville, IL; sister: Mollie McGavic, Shelbyville, IL; sister-in-law: Stephanie Wemple, Pana, IL; niece: Zoie Lynn Wemple; & grandfather: Earl Seagle, Hillsboro, IL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aric Wemple on May 12, 2007; grandparents: William & Marie McGavic and Pauline Seagle.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
