Richard Keith Eisele, 78, of Moweaqua, died Friday, January 22, 2010 in his residence.
He was born September 24, 1931 in Pana, IL, the son of Henry & Ethel Bartow Eisele. Richard attended Pana High School and later served in the U.S. Army. He had lived in Moweaqua for the past 30 years. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Richard had been a tool grinder at Caterpillar.
Richard Eisele and Caroline Dresick were united in marriage on October 20, 1951. He is survived by his wife Caroline Eisele, Moweaqua, IL; by their children: Larry Eisele & partner Becky Merrifield, Farmersville, IL; Carol Holthaus, Moweaqua, IL; Linda Perry & husband Mel, Coal City, IL; six grandchildren: Jason Eisele, Jessica Eisele, Joshua McMurray, Teagan McMurray, Randy McMurray, Alisha McMurray; and by four great grandchildren: Anthony, Ryder, Elise and Madelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Richard Eisele; two brothers: Russell Eisele and Robert Eisele; and by two sisters: Henrietta Skates and Florabelle O’Rear.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Havrilka officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
