The life of Jeremy Morgan, 25, of rural Herrick was violently ended on Thursday, December 29, 2011.
He was born October 9, 1986 in Springfield, IL. He lived most of his life in the local area except a short time in Pekin. Jeremy worked at GSI. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family, playing video games and loved animals.
Jeremy married Samantha Dolen on October 10, 2008 in Taylorville.
He is survived by his wife: Samantha Morgan, Green Valley, IL; father: Robert Morgan & wife Michelle, Taylorville, IL; mother: Carol Casner & husband Greg, Herrick, IL; brothers: Jason Morgan & wife Candi, Herrick, IL; Jason Casner, Herrick, IL; sisters: Sara Sunderland and Savannah Morgan, both of Taylorville, IL; grandparents: Darrel & Carol Morgan, Springfield, IL; step grandparents; Mac & Barb Casner, Herrick, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law: John & Share Dolen, Green Valley, IL; sisters-in-law: Alena Dolen, Erin Dolen, Abigail Dolen, Green Valley, IL; nephew: Preston Morgan; niece: Bailey Morgan; and by several aunts & uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gordon & Mary Leach.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dave Carrington officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
