Burl W. Younker

Burl W. Younker, 95, of Pana, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 in his residence. He was born October 28, 1914 in Leith, North Dakota, the son of Fred H. & Myrtle E. Crisup Younker. Burl was a retired custodian in the Pana School system and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pana.
He married Sarah “Bea” King on July 24, 1937 in Clayton, MO.
Burl is survived by his son: Delbert Younker & wife Patty, Winter Springs, FL & several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife on March 5, 2006; two sons: Roy Younker and Walter Younker; daughter, Barbara Markham; brothers: Orville Younker and Roy Younker; & sister, Leora Snyder.

Funeral Information

Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Mound Cemetery, Pana at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. David Hultberg officiating.
