Delmar Franklin Weaver

Delmar Franklin Weaver, 60, of Caruthersville, MO died Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Pemiscot Memorial Hospital, Hayti, MO.
He was born September 5, 1949 in Qulin, MO, the son of James C. & Thelma Williams Weaver.
Frank and the family moved to Herrick in 1964 and he graduated from Herrick High School in 1970. He began working at the age of 17 after his father’s death. He helped raise his siblings and took care of his mother until her death. He was a hard worker and worked for Fedders off and on for 35 years.
Frank enjoyed fishing , hunting, golfing, gardening; talking and visiting with friends. Going to the Herrick Café and sitting at the “Liar’s Table”.

Frank is survived by: five brothers: James Weaver, Chucky TN; Keith Weaver and wife, Linda of Pana IL; Charles Weaver and wife, Judy of Wardell MO; Alan Weaver and wife, Julie of Blue Mound IL; Brian Weaver of Herrick IL; three sisters: Mary Ruth Hicks and husband Clifford of Essex MO; Telcie Lutzen and husband Myron of Bowling Green KY; and Barbara Weaver of Caruthersville MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Thelma Williams Weaver; three brothers: James Carl Weaver; Herbert George, Stanley Weaver; seven sisters: Bessie Weaver; Florence Miller; Shirley Crago, Mary Rutherford; Betty Murrell; Doris Weaver; and Violet George.

He was never married and had no children but he found enjoyment with spending time with his nieces, nephews and the neighborhood children.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15, 2010 in Herrick Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jay Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick. Friends may call Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Herrick Baptist Church.
