Marie E. Rochkes, 90, of Pana, formerly of Joliet, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Heritage Manor—Pana. She was born March 5, 1920 in Pana, the daughter of Peter and Maude Derringer Hoeller. Marie was a graduate of Pana Township High School, but lived most of her adult life in Joliet. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing & ceramics. She loved flowers, making dolls, collecting angels & frogs, and fishing. Marie was also a wonderful cook. She was a member of the St. Pat’s Catholic Church, Joliet.
Marie married William Rochkes and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son: Michael Rochkes & wife Terry, Channahon, IL; 2 grandchildren: Adam Rochkes & wife Melissa and Missy Farrar & husband Jason, both of Channahon, IL; 4 great grandchildren: Presley & Laila Rochkes and Chloe & Payton Farrar, all of Channahon, IL; sister: Shirley Porter, Pana, IL; nieces: Carol Presnell & husband Jack, Pana, IL and Debra Wicks & husband Marvin, Taylorville, IL; and several great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, & brother, Kenneth Hoeller.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet, IL.
