Frederick "Leroy" Weller

Frederick “Leroy” Weller, 85, of Pana, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Heritage Manor, Pana. He was born July 15, 1924 in Kincaid, IL, the son of Bert and Rhoda Sisk Weller. Leroy served in the U.S. Army Air Corp., and had lived in Pana the last 54 years. Prior to that, he lived in Kincaid, Tower Hill, and Shelbyville. He was a retired mechanic from CH Metzger, and after his retirement, Leroy worked at the West Greenhouse.
He married Dolores VonBehren on August 12, 1944 in Taylorville, IL.
He is survived by his wife: Dolores Weller, Pana, IL; children: Denise Newbold & husband Richard, St. Clair, MO; Delbert Weller, Pana, IL; Barbara Warner & husband Sidney, Vandalia, IL; & Beverly Faddis & husband William, San Diego, CA; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; & 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Joleen Warner; & brothers: Lawrence, Lloyd, Joe, & Wilbur Weller.
Funeral Information
Cremation rights were accorded.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
