Shirley Hague, 76, of Pana, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1934 in Pana, the daughter of Harry Beeson, Sr. & Katherine Gallup Beeson. Shirley was a graduate of Pana High School. She had lived in the Assumption & Decatur areas, but spent most of her life in Pana. Shirley was a homemaker and was a past member of the Pana VFW Auxiliary.
Shirley Beeson and Carroll K. “Gunner” Hague were united in marriage in 1954. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter: Gail Robertson & husband Don, Columbia, MO; granddaughter: Carrie Anne Robertson, Columbia, MO; sister: Sharon Bennett, Pana, IL; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Hague in 1995; brothers: Harry Jr., Delmar, Tom, & Dick Beeson; and sisters: Sadie Miller & Norma Lebon.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
