Mary Jane Massey, 85, of Decatur, formerly of Rantoul, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Aspen Manor, Decatur.
Mary Jane was born February 1, 1923 in Pana, IL, daughter of Edouard and Mary (Hocq) LeDuc. She married Toney Massey in December 1946 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1993.
She is survived by her sons: Terry Massey of Decatur, Charles Massey of Rantoul, daughter, Lynne Larkin of Joliet, sister, Marcella Herbord of Pana, 7 grandchildren, & 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 son, and 1 grandson.
Mary was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Rantoul & Easter Star, Lucky Chapter, Rantoul. She worked Civil Services at Chanute Air Force Base for 25 years.
Funeral Information
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Mound Cemetery, Pana, IL. Rev. Gary Ingold will officiate. Burial will follow immediately.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul, IL.
