Angela Sue Meek, 40, of Pana, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born June 17, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Lee Roy & Jettie Sue Blankenship Malone. After high school, Angela graduated from college with a degree in business. She came to Pana in 2008 from Paintsville, Kentucky. She was a homemaker. Angela had been attending the Lighthouse Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. She was a great mother and loved her family very much. She enjoyed being around people.
Angela married Robert Lee Meek on April 30, 2004 in Paintsville, KY.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Lee Meek, Pana, IL; children: Richard Rohor, Paintsville, KY; Zachery Mollett, Paintsville, KY; Jesse Meek, Paintsville, KY; Tyler Meek, Paintsville, KY; Aniata Meek, Paintsville, KY; & Cheyenne Meek, Paintsville, KY; father Lee Roy Malone in Tennessee; mother Jettie Sue Malone, Paintsville, KY; brother: Lee Malone, Nashville, TN; grandparents: Boose & Audrey Malone, Grove City, OH & Rev. Oscar & Bertha Blankenship, Thelma, KY; 2 nieces: Ashley & Sierra Malone; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Roger & Shirley Walters, Pana, IL; brother-in-law: Ronald Meek & wife Diana, Pana, IL. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2008 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, Kentucky with Rev. Louis Ferrari officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery, Thelma, Kentucky.
