Cathy M. Riddle, 58, of Pana, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born February 17, 1951 in Creve Coeur, IL, the daughter of James & Ina Ruth Jackson Adams. Cathy graduated from Moweaqua High School and then attended Richland Community College, where she received her LPN degree. She came to Pana in 1987 from Warrensburg, IL. She had been the Care Plan Coordinator at Heritage Manor—Pana for the past 10 years, and had been employed there for 23 years.
Cathy is survived by her sons: Tracy Hood & wife Tiffany Wilkerson-Hood, Decatur, IL; Brad Hood, St. Louis, MO; & Tim Hood, Peoria, IL; 8 grandchildren: Kristen, Mercedes, Jacob, Sarah, Jordan Aidan, Samantha, Lauren; her mother & father: Ruth & Carl Blazier, Decatur, IL; companion: John White, Pana, IL; brothers: Steve Adams, Pana, IL & Carl Lee Blazier, Carmi, IL; and sisters: Ruthie Lody, Pana, IL & Sherry Brown, Shelbyville, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, James Adams.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
