Cynthia Rene Lawrence, 47, of Pana, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in her residence. She was born September 21, 1962, in Urbana, IL, the daughter of Gary & Jennie (Elliott) Laughlin. Cynthia was a graduate of Pana High School, Class of 1980. She then attended Decatur Area Nursing to become an LPN. She lived in Pana her entire life.
She married Doug Lawrence on September 22, 1998. He preceded her in death in August 2001.
Cynthia is survived by her son: Zach Dionne & wife Lindsey, Pana, IL; 3 grandchildren: Zachiah, Kinsey, & Ryleigh; mother: Jennie Laughlin, Pana, IL; father: Gary Laughlin, Herrick, IL; sisters: Cheri Laughlin, Tower Hill, IL & Heidi Laughlin, Herrick, IL; step-son: Winchester Dionne, Dallas, TX; 3 nephews: Marshall, Elliot, & Miles; loving companion: Bill Amling, Pana, IL; Bill’s children: Trisha Bertin, Pana, IL & Becky Amling, Pana, IL and Bill’s grandchildren: Gabby & Emma. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
