Roxanna M. Perry

Roxanna M. Perry, 83, of Springfield, died Monday, December 12, 2011 in St. John’s Hospice, Springfield. She was born August 8, 1928 in Troy, IL, the daughter of James Elmer & Margaret Rachel Burris Logsdon. Roxanna had lived in Pana, but spent most of her life in Decatur, later moving to Springfield. She was a housekeeper and worked at the Decatur Club in Decatur.
She married Clarence Leon Perry and he preceded her on March 24, 1981.
Roxanna is survived by children: Rex Perry & wife Sandra, Illiopolis, IL; Clarence Lee Perry & wife Kris, Midlothian, TX; Sharon Brown, Springfield, IL; Donna Jacobs & husband Allan, Springfield, IL; Rodger Perry & wife Indra, Springfield, IL; 15 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; brother: Tracy Logsdon & wife Daisy, Cowden, IL; sister: Iva Fringer, Pana, IL. She was preceded by her parents; husband; brothers: Joseph Logsdon, Thomas Logsdon, Edward Logsdon, Artie Logsdon, Leonard Logsdon, James Logsdon; sisters: Vesta Denton and Connie Parrish

Funeral Information

No visitation.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Linwood Cemetery, Pana at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg White officiating.
